NGSE Students Work in Print (2018)

I am delighted to share the wonderful work of our National Geographic Student Expeditions students here from our time in Nepal over the last few weeks. As a part of our time together, we encouraged students to dig deep into a topic that interested them while in Nepal and to write, draw, photograph, or video their stories. Thanks to the wonderful support of our Nepali friends and fixers, we had the opportunity to interview families impacted by the earthquake and subsequent aftershocks in 2015, to learn about the various foods and traditions of Nepal, to explore environmental issues and development issues, to learn about Buddhism and Hinduism. The list goes on… Overall, it was a wonderful experience to share with our students and we were extremely impressed by their passion and ability to dive in.
